  5. Take a small ball size of dough and roll it to make a thickish flat bread. Cut out the sides to get a sqarish shape. Cut small sized square or diamond shaped Shankarpalli pieces.
  6. Put the pieces in the hot oil in the frying pan and do not disturb till they are partly cooked. Then turn them over in the pan on medium-heat till the shankarpalis are fried to golden colour. Take them out on kitchen tissue paper, let them cool completely. Keep them in a airtight container to keep them crisp for longer time.
  7. Shankarpali is ready to be served. Enjoy the crispy crunchy sweet snack.
