- Salt and pepper to taste
Steps to make Miso Soup
- As you know dice your aromatics and set them to the side. This recipe will go a little different so PAY ATTENTION!
Gentle rinse the kombu piece place it in a medium pot with H20 & gently simmer for 10 minutes. Don't let boil or the kombu flavor will turn BITTER.
- Soak the Wakame in a small bowl of warm H20 for at least 5 minutes to rehydrate.

- Remove the kombu from the soup. Drain the Wakame and it to the soup along with the aromatics. Simmer for 1 to 2 minutes.

- In a small bowl stir miso paste with the hot broth. Until smooth than stir back into the soup.

- While that is simmering away cut your tofu. Season it along with the bamboo shoots. Add a teaspoon of oil to the pan. Place in your tofu to brown the outside. Add the bamboo shoots for a crunch !
