- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese whole milk
Instructions to make Manicotti
- Gather the ingredients. Chop the celery, carrots, and zucchini. Crisp the bacon.



- Set the bacon aside to cool. Sautè the vegetables in the butter. When cooled chop the bacon. Preheat the oven to 400° Fahrenheit.



- Boil the pasta tubes for five minutes. Add the bacon to the vegetables. When the vegetables are just almost done. Remember the will cook in the oven.



- Set the manicotti tubes to a baking pan, to let them cool. Add the pesto to the filling mix.



- Brown the pork for the sauce. Add eggs to the filling.



- Get the ricotta cheese to the filling and mix well. Add the spices and tomato sauce to the sauce.



- Mix the filling I didn't have a piping bag so I just spooned them in. Set them on a sauced pan. I had to go back and lift the filled manicotti add sauce and put them back. Add half the cheese to top.



- Add sauce on top. Then add the rest of the cheese. Bake in oven, 45 minutes covered, remove cover and bake 15 minutes. Let rest 7 minutes and it's ready.
