- 3 cups skim milk
- 3/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg

- Chose any Instant Pot safe container to carefully spoon your mixture into. I tried out traditional ceramic ramekins as well as Oui yogurt bottles. Fill them up not quite to the top and place each one carefully onto your trivet.

- Take a square of aluminum foil and place it lightly over the top of your containers. This is to prevent excess water dripping from the lid onto your flan during cooking.
- Seal the lid and power on the Instant Pot.

- Once the cooking finishes, turn off the Instant Pot and let it naturally release for 10 minutes.
- Open the lid and let some of the steam dissipate before handling the hot foil and containers.
- Secure a square of aluminium foil to the top of each container and press it down so it's air-tight around the rim. Place in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
